WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Drilling engineers, well operations personnel, who would like to gain greater understanding of mud motor design and their applications in drilling.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Topics will include techniques of optimization, basic concepts, different optimization methods, hydraulic optimization, different nozzle selection criteria, diamond and roller cone bit weight on bit, rotary speed drilling optimization, hydraulic optimization with special downhole tools, well cost estimation, minimum cost casing design. This course envisages studying algorithms and optimization techniques used in the various stages of drilling and well completion operations. The course will also focus on presenting different optimization methods and expose the participants to variety of problems and solve them successfully.
