As of July 1, 2010, Daniel J. Tearpock, founder and CEO of Subsurface Consultants & Associates, has taken the helm as President of the AAPG’s Division of Professional Affairs for the 2010-2011 term. This follows his term as President-Elect for 2009-2010.
Mr. Tearpock has held several positions within the DPA: 1998-2001 Advisory Board Member; 2002-2004 Treasurer; 2000-2003 Continuing Education Committee Chairman; 2004-2005 Vice President, Chair of the Reserves Evaluation Committee, and represents the DPA as a founding member of JCORET (Joint Committee on Reserves Evaluator Training).
